Add standard training for everyone
- In Training library, enter a title, description, and type: Document or Video.
- Under “Who receives this training?”, choose “All accounts · current and future”.
- Choose a file from your computer, or enter a Loom, YouTube, or Vimeo link for a video.
- Choose Draft while preparing it, or Published when ready, then click Add training module.
Published standard training appears under My training for every active, approved Academy account, including administrators and future members. Each person marks their own completion. Team and Practice progress summarize that individual progress.
For specialized training, choose Selected members only, publish the module, then use Assign individual training. Everyone-wide training needs no individual assignments.
Share resources
In Share a resource, choose All accounts or a specific practice, enter the title and description, select a file, and publish. Resources appear in Resources and do not count as training completion. A resource for one practice remains restricted to that practice and ELIXIR administrators.
Upload files directly
Use the file picker in the training or resource form. Supported files: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TXT, CSV, MP4, and MOV, up to 1 GB (1,000 MB) each, subject to available Wix storage. Files larger than 10 MB upload in chunks with percentage progress and automatic retries after temporary connection failures. Keep the page open until saving completes. The form shows upload and processing status. Files are stored privately in Wix automatically; you do not need to open Wix Media Manager or copy a file ID.
For a larger video, enter a supported video link. Set the provider’s viewing permissions appropriately: the Academy protects access to the link, while the provider controls the video itself. Direct uploads use private Wix files and temporary authorized download links.
Edit or withdraw content
Expand a training module in Training library to edit it. Use Edit resource for resources. Select a replacement file to change it; leave the file picker blank to keep the current file. Changing a title or replacing a file retains previous training completions. Create a new module if people need to complete a revised lesson again.
Changing Published to Draft withdraws access. Changing All accounts to Selected members stops automatic assignment; any explicit individual assignments still apply. Completion history stays recorded.
Access rules
“All accounts” means active, authorized Academy accounts. It does not open content to the public, applicants awaiting practice approval, suspended members, or members of suspended practices. Managers and employees cannot publish content or request upload links.
Publishing content sends no email or invitation. Members see updates when they refresh or next sign in.
Return to AcademyTracked training review
Training now opens inside the Academy. Upload PDF documents or MP4/MOV videos. Export PowerPoint or Word as a PDF to preserve the page/slide layout. Uploaded page counts and video lengths are detected automatically. For YouTube or Vimeo, enter the complete video length in seconds and ensure the provider permits embedding on this site. Loom links must be replaced with an uploaded MP4/MOV or supported video link.
Members review PDF pages in order, scroll to each page’s bottom, and finish the final page before marking completion. Video progress counts continuous playback at normal speed; skipping ahead does not unlock completion. Progress is saved individually. Replacing content resets unfinished review progress. Existing completion history remains; create a new module when everyone needs to retrain.
These records show page/video interaction, not comprehension. Browser viewing cannot prevent screenshots or copying. Resources keep their existing download workflow. For previously published training, expand its entry in Administration → Training library and click Prepare existing file for review. This detects the page count or video length without another upload. Unsupported documents must first be exported and replaced with a PDF. Linked videos need their length entered in the edit form.
Edit and delete resources
Open Resources (as an administrator), or Administration → Manage resources. Each resource has an Edit resource and Delete resource button. Editing opens the existing title, description, audience and availability; leave Replace file empty to keep the current file. Click Save resource changes when finished.
Delete resource opens a confirmation. Confirming removes the resource from the Academy for all roles and blocks new portal access. Its private source file remains in Wix Media Manager because another resource or training may use it. Download links already issued expire within five minutes.
